Demosthenes at Volume 11 takes offense “laughed pretty hard” at something I said. It has nothing to do with what side of the aisle I’m on; it has to do with irrationally grabbing up any left-wing detritus floating by so as to “strengthen” a point.

Well, Bush didn’t admit that he committed a crime. And Demosthenes didn’t actually accuse him directly, but is trying very hard to paint it as such. He may think he is clever but his circular argument is pretty obvious. And you are correct in pointing it out. He/She just isn’t willing to accept that you (us) can see through his/her feeble argument.
Check some of his other posts if you don’t think he accuses Bush directly; e.g., “Quoth the Traitor.”
