  1. Is she crying on behalf of her husband, or because of the shame she feels for the foolishness of the people attacking him?

She may just be crying on behalf of the state of our country as a whole.

  2. Kane says: “Clearly, she was having a hard time dealing with the grilling of her husband by some Democratic senators.

But, it’s important to understand, this wasn’t a personal attack on Alito. It was an attempt by elected representatives to determine if the guy’s touting of his membership in a racist Princeton alumni group represented his true attitudes on diversity.”

According to Foxnews: “The crying gave way about six hours into the questioning. It was set off not by a critic, but by Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., who apologized to the nominee for having to listen to what he says are baseless accusations and linkages.

‘Let me tell you, this guilt by association is going to drive good men and women away from trying to sit where you’re sitting. … Judge Alito, I am sorry you’ve had to go through this. I am sorry that you’re family has had to listen to this,’ Graham said.”

Watch a little more carefully, Kane.
