The State of the…Nap

Some people never take them. Others cannot survive without them. We have “power naps” and “cat naps.” Some prefer a 20 minute nap, while others go for a couple of hours.

How about you?

  1. My dad, who is a Pastor has named his bed “The Word.” Whenever anyone asks what he plans to do on Sunday afternoon, he replies, “I’m going to spend a few hours in The Word.” 😉

A couple hours on Sunday has become a tradition for me, too

  2. Hmmm…sounds like a good idea.

On Sundays I enjoy crashing for a half hour or so. I’ve found if I sleep any longer, I’m worthless for the rest of the day. At seminary, I enjoy the 15-minute power nap. I don’t have much time to get a midday nap on vicarage, but on Mondays, I get home at 5:30 take a 30 minute nap and then grab dinner before heading back up to church for a round of meetings.
