At the university where I work I am pretty much not allowed to discuss "young earth" theory, especially in context of 6 day creation. I can speak it, of course, but the responses are generally in context of eliciting ways for me to do penance for denouncing the generally accepted "scientific" theology, I mean theory, of millenia of evolution.

The issue isn't about open debate here but about the evolutionists refusal to even consider that their theories and theological positions could every possibly be wrong. In the challenges the face, they're just not up to challenge their perceptions (i.e. beliefs) in any meaningful way.

I know I might be just a bit biased... as Pastor Speckhard is my Pastor, but I was extremely disappointed by "Pr." Murphy's response. For one, Murphy knows not of what he speaks. Secondly, it is sad that he essentially resorted to an ad hominem attack and the proceeded to back up his position ala Kant's natural "theology."

Nonetheless, your response is well done.
